Few things are as powerful as weekly peer mentoring that happens through mastermind groups.
Each week, the focus rotates on a different member of the group. We call this the “Hot Seat” (or in one case “The Firehose”). This member bring their question, issue, concern, struggle, etc, to the group to wrestle with and provide insight. Sometimes these are very specific issues such as “What should I charge for this service?” and sometimes they are larger strategic questions such as, “I’m considering a new product or service, but not sure how to see if the demand is there.”
As the groups move forward, there is a deeper understanding of each member and their business; and the conversations become quite significant and profound. This is why we are asking for a 6-month commitment; the power of the groups to a large degree is the continuity and commitment to one another. The more we can remove turnover and change, the greater the impact.
